This role focuses around the use of SAP and it’s functions. When the hearing aid arrives into Dispatch I ensure the hearing aids are at the correct standard for shipping, packaged correctly, scanned through SAP and finally shipped off to the correct courier. Additionally, I take on the role within the Order Confirmation team to ensure the aids are put into their own allocated trays and processed through SAP. This way the aids can be tracked along each process step. Being at the forefront of both Goods In and Goods Out means that our team have to stay professional at all times and remain diligent to minimise errors. One of my key roles is being in charge of Bulk Shipments. This requires me to box up hundreds of parcels and ship them correctly to separate countries including; Netherlands, Germany, Hungry and Israel. These are prepared, invoiced and manifested by me, ready to be picked up by the courier. This is done with the use of SAP and DHL Intraship 7.4. Due to this role I have to be in constant communication with several couriers, including DHL, UPS and Time:Matters. One of my proudest roles is being the Lean Six Sigma Representative for the Logistics Department. We have carried out various 5S events throughout the company and we are always looking to carry out Lean Six Sigma projects to improve efficiencies and processes.

Nationwide

This was a very hands on, demanding role. I spent 3 weeks training as a retail assistant before being moved ahead of the programme to be a duty manager in the Wrexham branch. During this time, I managed the store on a daily basis working with the support of the branch manager. I was in charge of everything from undertaking the orders for the products to managing stock-take counts. I was in charge of all the cash handling in the store, as well as dealing with customer complaints. I regularly managed a small team during morning and evening shifts, overseeing opening and closing down of the store.

This role developed my customer service skills as a Team Member at Cineworld. I was required to take on a number of responsibilities, including managing the concessions stand. From this, I have learnt the importance of food hygiene and infection control.
