Hi, my name is Joo Young, or Daniel, from South Korea. I'm a 19 year old man. I've always wanted to have new experiences in my life. So this August, I chose to move to Sweden alone, without any contact or family. I wanted a new challenge and a new start. Fortunately, Sweden offers South Korean citizens the "Working Holiday Visa", so thankfully, I was able to get the visa and come to Göteborg. Before coming to Sweden, I worked as an assistant cook in a pizzeria to save money in order to move. I've learned many skills, in the kitchen as well as in life, so I am confident I can use my skills in Sweden as well. I didn't have prior experience in the kitchen, but fortunately, my then boss was kind enough to hire me even though I had 0 experience. I think we the experience I have in Korea will give me an unique advantage among other appliers.I don't have a fancy education, but what I can say about myself is, I'm a very fast learner, and I like to experience new things. I assure you that I can compete with those who have a better education than me. My English is fluent, however, my Swedish still needs improving, and I'm studying everyday by myself. I hope to get a Job to fund my stays in Sweden.I've been working at Pizza Company Bosque in Seoul, Korea since July of 2021. Although it has not been long since I started working in the food industry, I've learned a lot. The main things I do is prepare the pizza, and make it ready for delivery. I sometimes serve the customers when the store is busy.
