• Experience with pre-production manufacturing planning and product development with involvement in unique prototype builds. Practice as floor support engineer during production of complex vehicle designs and management.
• Oversee production and procurement of prototype vehicles, kits and assemblies by coordinating with engineering, planning, manufacturing and material handling departments. Responsible for delivering four new Bradley.
• Analyzed Pro-E models and drawings for manufacturability and cost of engineering designs during Future Combat Systems vehicle program. Ensured designs met with company and customer specifications as well as mil-spec.
• Provided engineering floor support during Panther MRAP production. Contributed with deviations and change notices to rectify assembly issues and design flaws. Initiated design of protective shield to prevent critical.
• Developed shop floor layout and assembly stations for complex Traction Drive System, an electric propulsion transmission for the Future Combat Systems vehicle. Identified special tooling requirements and created work.
• Produced special tooling fixtures for Common Manifold Assembly and Traction Drive System using Pro-E. Both fixtures effectively reduced part movement and cycle time.

• Understanding of various phases of high volume manufacturing environment including customer service, production, inspection, packaging and shipping. Valuable sense of CNC milling and turning processes as well as TIG.
• Created detailed manufacturing drawings from customer solid models using Solidworks and additionally created models from drawings for use in CAM programming software.
• Designed inspection and manufacturing tooling and fixtures for CNC machines as well as CMM measuring equipment.
• Responsible for coordinating and conducting NPI meetings with programming, engineering and production management departments.
• Initiated MRB process for non-conforming materials and performed root cause analysis and implemented corrective actions.
• Ensured product consistency and quality by creating work instructions and visual guides for assembly of complex machined components.
