In charge of Operations Planning for all Containers Terminals (Santos/SP, Vila do Conde/PA, Imbituba/SC) working in a Matrix Organization for Vila do Conde and Imbituba. Evolve and consolidate operations planning standards and best practices. Lead managements rituals and continue improvement initiatives to guarantee discipline of execution. To develop and implement expansion projects for the Terminals (Santos, Vila do Conde and Imbituba) being responsible for all projects lifecycle phases and defining and approving Layout, Engineering, Equipment, Automation, Systems and Processes.Lead the capacity management process for the Ports analyzing the market and competitors, structuring the S&OP processes within operations perspective. Lead the development of the middle management operations leadership by coaching and mentoring (problem solving, innovation culture, kaizen mindset, costumer centricity, safety, projects and processes management).

In charge to restructure the operations management team, processes, and culture for Santos Terminal. To develop and implement planning processes and contingencies plan. To lead change actions in order to guarantee the service level and to build a strong relationship with the main costumers to sustain a collaboration process to business development. Build a result focused mindset with a high focus on cost management. Take leadership on strategic and cross-functional projects and actions plans.

Head of Santos operations what include: Port Terminal, REDEX (Export Bounded Terminal), Intermodal Logistics and Depot, being in charge to ensure that the operations attend the customers needs with reliability and flexibility, while having the right costs structure.Responsible of leading a team of 800 people being 8 direct reports, overseeing the following areas:• Directly: Operations, Operations Planning, Maintenance, Operations Excellence & Quality, Risk Management and Customs Processes.• Indirectly: HSE, Customer Relationship, Security and Finance Planning.The main challenges are to decentralize the management model trough working on empowerment, engagement and accountability of the team, to redesign and improve the culture and processes of operations excellence and quality and to act as sponsor on IT projects to simplify and automate key processes with a high impact on customer satisfaction.

Head of Terminal Operations in charge of a team of 550 people, reporting to the VP of Operations.Responsible for operations results and performance, team building, middle management development, customer relationship in partnership with commercial team, union relationship and negotiations, to lead main strategic projects within Terminal and also to have important role in cross unit’s projects.Structure and lead tactical and strategic rituals such as: S&OP, Cost Management, Process Management, Operations Alignment, Excellence Projects.

Responsible for improving operations planning processes trough Lean and Six Sigma philosophies and also guarantee full utilization of Terminal Operation System. Work together with operations and commercial areas, understanding and translating customer needs to operations planning and execution teams, ensuring that the customers needs are delivered.Work together whit Engineering and Operations Excellence area to achieve optimal utilization of resources, such as, internal and external areas and equipment, improving performance and reducing costs.

In charge of leading the operations planning team which includes ship planning and yard planning activities: - Berth window management - Inbound/Outbound schedule management - Activities & Resources planning - Customer service orientation - SLA's control and improvement - 3 PL Reefer contract management

Responsible for integrate planning with the operation leading the operational team in carrying out daily activities and being in charge of decision making, problem solving and conflict management. Responsible for leading improvement projects in partnership with the areas of process and quality.

Responsible for structuring the activities of the process area. Management of mapping projects, redesign, improvement and standardization of operational processes.

Responsible for the development of major strategic studies and projections of the operational area. Participating in projects for operational processes improvement and developing and deploying a Processes Management Office as Trainee Final Project.
