I am a Partner in TLT’s Technology and IP team and a specialist in commercial contracts, digital content, intellectual property rights, consumer law and telecoms regulation. I work with companies large and small in the digital tech space on complex technology transactions. I also support companies in the financial services, real estate and retail sectors with their technology contracting needs. Prior to joining TLT I spent several years as Head of Consumer Law at BT, enabling me to provide clients with a deep insight into communication, digital and technology sectors. At BT I advised on all consumer facing-services and products including BT Sport, BT TV and BT Mobile. I chair the Business Consumer Co-ordination Group and am a member of the European Law Committee for the Bar Council. I co-authored Blackstone's Guide to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (OUP, 2016)

Head Of Consumer LawBt Jan 2009 - Jan 2016London, United KingdomI worked as the Head of Consumer Law at BT with responsbility for BT's standard terms and conditions as a consumer lawyer - ensuring that they comply with the UTCCRs and the Ofcom General Conditions etc. I also provided legal support on major transactions of strategic importance to BT's consumer facing business. In addition I lobbied on behalf of BT on proposed new Consumer laws particularly in relation to the Consumer Rights Directive and the Consumer Rights Act. During my time in this role I managed the Consumer Law team within BT and the provision of consumer law legal advice and support to BT's PSTN, Broadband, Mobile and TV/Sport businesses. In 2011 I completed a six month secondment in BT's Major Transactions Team. For ten years I also managed the Commercial Law Group for BT Legal, an in house training and knowlege sharing forum for all commercial lawyers in BT. -
