I served a rotation in Operations before advancing to a Plant Supervisor position. During my Operations rotation, I championed production efficiency projects across multiple departments. I performed a KPI study which analyzed the cost of rework associated with a new initiative; my findings led to the termination of this initiative and significant cost savings for the company (exact numbers confidential).As a Plant Supervisor, I monitored and coordinated the manufacturing operations of 12 operators. This involved removing all barriers to the operators' success by ensuring they possessed proper tooling and materials. I responded to upstream process delays by restructuring the manning schedule to minimize downtime and overcame quality issues by challenging the mindset of "that's not possible".

I implemented and maintained the accuracy of an inventory management software to increase stock visibility and correct inefficiencies in inventory tracking. Through daily communication with Operations and the Sales department, I was successful in minimizing back-orders and reducing order cancellations by 50% per month.

I evaluated raw material and production costs for 100 SKUs to determine the profit margins of manufacturing in house versus contracting out. After analyzing sales data, I used those findings to calculate the profit over an average 30 day sales period. My findings were used by the CEO and CFO to project quarterly earnings.

I mentored 24 first-year campers while resolving issues like group exclusivity, low self-esteem, and homesickness. Through excellent time management, I ensured my campers were punctual throughout their daily programming while teaching accountability. Active listening was employed to identify daily social conflicts and I adapted my communication methods to effectively influence each individual. As a role model, I showed compassion and support but exercised discipline when required.

I remodeled components of an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile project using the computer aided design software Siemens NX. Upon successful completion of my design rotation, I conducted materials research to determine the functionality of 50+ components under specific environmental conditions.
