As a Planner I, I field and design overhead electrical distribution power poles including primary and secondary conductors keeping in mind electrical utility industry practices and regulatory practices. I utilize various software and programs to load the poles and perform tests to ensure they pass the thresholds and forces applied to the pole. To complete this task, I use software such as SpidaCalc and AUD AutoCad along with utilizing databases such as SAP, Eworld, and navigating through reference manuals. I am currently responsible for Fielding/Planning power distribution pole systems using tools such as range finders, FIM, Circuit Maps, SpidaCalc etc. As a part of the planning process, it is my duty to review Joint Pole information to ensure all third party attachments are within ownership as well as complete red lines to assist Drafters in the completion of AUD.

Power Distribution Design- As a Power technologist, I designed distribution poles including primary and secondary framing. I utilize various software and programs to load the poles and perform tests to assure they pass the thresholds and forces applied to the pole. To complete this task I use software such as Ocalc Pro, AutoCad, MET Cad software, and SpidaCalc. I have been selected to be a part of storm response team, if called upon to help with any and all situations. Utility Design- As a utility designer, I remotely designed proposed utility services to residential and commercial customers. to complete this task I utilized various software programs to design the route for overhead and underground utility lines such as Gas, Electric, and communication lines. I designed these routes with the use of overhead and underground schematics and site plans of existing lines in order to create a route that does not create any infractions or conflicts with existing utilities. I dealt directly with customers to make sure they were satisfied with the process from start of design all the way to the installation of the utility. Lead Field Technician- As a lead field technician, I led a team of 10 to 15 field technicians in the task of collecting measurements and data from power distribution poles as well as street lights using GPS guided laser instruments, handheld measuring tools, and various software. I led this team in various contracted projects including deteriorated pole replacement, wildfire rebuild, primary and secondary conductor upgrade, and street light reallocation.

Parts and Materials Specialist- My responsibilities in our parts department were to order and stock all parts and materials need to complete our jobs. I was also responsible for a team of employees which I organized to maintain our parts department. It was my duty to evaluate and track the performance of these employees. Construction Supervisor- My duties included general construction and commercial construction tasks such electrical (120v/ 230v) plumbing (new construction as well as repair of existing work), all kinds of flooring installation, framing (wood and metal), carpentry and most general construction duties. My work was mainly done in commercial buildings such as dental offices, schools, coffee shops, etc. My responsibilities also included visiting all jobs sites to oversee employees on site. I also carried the responsibility as a purchaser for the company where I would research pricing and availability to make all purchases of materials needed for our jobs.

Bottling Technician- My responsibilities as a bottling technician were to run and operate the bottling machine which filled, capped, and labeled the water bottles. I would also keep the bottling production line moving by keeping all machines stocked with the proper bulk items such as: labels, caps, bottles, cardboard, I also had general warehouse duties such as: forklift operator, pallet wrapping and stocking, and inventory maintenance.

As a student assistant my duties were to assist our clients with daily activities, help promote a healthy lifestyle, and improve our clients life skills by promoting cognitive learning lessons and positive reinforcement. I would assist our clients with daily hygiene such as brushing their teeth, combing their hair, and getting ready for the day. One of my responsibilities was to accompany a group of clients to their on campus work site where I would assist with hands on learning and job training skills. As a student assistant I would have to study and learn each clients health and medication history due to various food and drug restrictions that were different for each client.
