Through my 13 years at Qualcomm I have worked on several different projects in various industries. Corporate Research Autonomous Driving Research - Staff Support EngineerCurrently manage the support engineering team in their day to day operation for the Autonomous Vehicle Research project. I am responsible for the equipment installation standards for vehicle deployment and perform full vehicle modifications to install cameras, lidar systems, ESR and SRR (radar systems), vehicle networking, server, GPU and tracking systems. Retrofit vehicles with rackable test systems including DC power conversions, shore power solutions and customized hardware racks. I regularly engage with cross functional teams to ensure upgrades and new products are properly processed from lab to simulator to vehicle testing environments. Continuously develop and execute road safety protocols for testing in both private and public environments. Constructed a private trial facility to test automation variables such as radar and lidar performance, camera recognition and location systems. MediaFlo/FLO TV - Broadcast Field Engineer and Tier 2 Lead EngineerResponsible for integration and deployment of Qualcomm's broadcast mobile network. I was responsible for the remote site builds, test and integration into the network. As a lead tier 2 support engineer I provided second level engineering support for the deployment operations team. This includes construction planning, field engineering, and the Network Operations Center.Corporate Research and Development 4G LTE and 5G Project - Sr. Support Engineer/Staff Support Engineer Managed the support team for the lab and field environments for the 4G LTE and 5G projects. I oversaw the install and maintenance of lab equipment rooms including rack mounted hardware (servers, slimcats, power supply, routers, switches, etc.) I was in charge of the OTA (over the air fleet) fleet which performed drive testing efforts for the integration and test team.

Network Engineering, Equipment Engineer• Design manage and facilitate IDEN technology equipment installations throughout California, Phoenix, and Nevada • Inventory and audit equipment capacity to the component level, including DC power plants, DSX wiring, and Fiber DSX wiring• Perform job surveys with external vendors and internal installation teams. Engineer equipment needs, connectivity, floor plan locations, cable lengths and type, and all power requirements. Submit vendor bids and complete budget and project planning• Develop and review technical documentation (MOP’s, Installation Specs, Floor plans)• Manage vendors during installation insuring safety requirements and installation standards are met• Responsible for quality control for all installations in conjunction with job sign off and post job management• Support management with installation planning and standardization throughout the organization • Improve or develop processes within the organization to help deliver both internal and external customer satisfaction

National Network Operations Center, Lead Technician• Extensive experience in supporting and monitoring critical IDEN network elements using real time alarming of network faults, analysis, notification, trending of faults and escalation in a 24/7/365 day role• Provide real time and near real time responses to network faults on elements throughout the iDen network• Facilitate support with MSO’s, field engineers, service providers, vendors, and outside support organizations • Initiate, update, track and close network trouble tickets• Work to develop and improve NNOC capabilities through implementation of network management tools ensuring quality of service across all markets• Provide technical support, training and guidance to entry-level and junior technicians• Document accuracy of data on audit logs and shift turnoversLocal Operations Center, MSO Technician• Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the Motorola iDen network, which manages Base Site Controllers, Enhanced Trans Coders, Tellabs and Alcatel Digital Access Cross Connect Switches, Tandem Dispatch Application Processors, EBTS sites and all peripheral equipment through the Operations Center• Monitor and troubleshoot circuits from the DS0 to DS3 level• Facilitate troubleshooting issues with Motorola, Nortel, Tellabs, Alcatel and Telco companies associated with network outages

Level III Technician• Performed network and power installations in various Pacific Bell Central Offices in Southern California• Developed and reviewed installation specifications and MOPs to insure proper installs were performed• Installed hardware and terminated cable to various network components (Fiber Optic, Structure, Signal, and Power Cable)• Directly responsible for the quality control of all installations.

Microwave Communications Technician• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of Microwave Radio equipment. (TRC-170 and MRC-142)• Provide long distance communications utilizing Time Division Multiplexing via microwave communication radios.• Operational experience with global positioning systems, HF, UHF, VHF, digital communication, and encryption devices.• Maintained and repaired various communications equipment including radios, secure voice devices, and power supplies.• Managed Marines on various different levels through my enlistment and acted as site chief on many deployments.
