With a M. Sc. in Risk Management and Safety Engineering and a background in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering (LTH) at Lund University in Sweden I have solid background and wide knowledge in the area of safety engineering. After joining Ramboll Energy eleven years ago, I have continued to build on the knowledge of safety engineering through working on a wide variety of projects in the Nordics and globally. Such project has foremost included plants with flammables (e.g. natural gas/biogas, LNG/LBG and hydrogen) and toxics (e.g. ammonia and carbon dioxide). During the last four years, the work and projects has been focused on the green transition and renewables and I have acquired extensive knowledge in context of safety engineering for specifically hydrogen and generally power-to-X and carbon capture. Driving the development within safety engineering for the green transition and contributing to setting standards for a safe design of such plants is something that I find interesting and challenging.Beside working as a Senior Safety Engineer, I am also frequently appointed as Discipline Lead for Safety and Project Manager for projects and have the role as Team Lead for a small group of Safety Engineers. Being able to contribute to the professional and personal development of the fellow Safety Engineers is something that I find motivating and inspiring.
