My role as a camp counsellor was to work alongside my colleagues and look after 10 children for a 2 week period at a time and ensure they have the most amazing experience possible. After 2 weeks the kids would go home and we would have another set of kids arrive for 2 weeks. Part of the kids camp experience included doing camp fires, camping out over night, taking the kids to their chosen activities in the morning, swimming and many more actives that the camp offered. Whilst the children were doing their activities I was teaching my own classes, I was teaching the kids some basic self defence in the form of Judo.
