Provided technical guidance and training of all operators and staff for the new production process, and lead all start-up activities.Deliver new technology Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) on schedule to the project team and support execution of the project for implementation at the pilot and commercial scale, often fitting process into existing equipment.Projects range from $50,000 to $5,000,000.Lead reviews of relief designs. • Provide process design (Front End Loading and Detailed Design) for capital and expense projects ($5,000 -$5,000,000) across multiple plants and businesses in Dow. Primarily supporting Performance Silicones, Ethylene Oxide, Surfactants, and Chemical Storage and Distribution.• Participate in Project Steering Team and lead scope development to meet business and project objectives. On a $3,000,000 capital project reduced scope to eliminate parallel scrubber leading to a $400,000 capital reduction. • Work on multi-discipline teams to provide project deliverables including P&IDs, pressure relief design, risk analysis and process safety reviews, process modeling, unit operation design, heat transfer calculations, etc.• Provide inputs for project time requirements and cost estimates.

• Responsible for daily operations of aminopyralid facility with four electrochemical cell trains; monitored asset utilization to identify areas for process improvement, developed and implemented solutions to increase production efficiencies, and dynamically adjusted production controls and rates to meet quality specifications and production order volume requirements.• Supported plant EH&S activities through procedure audits and reviews; developed and executed high consequence drill scenarios and ensured regular drills were performed as lead of the Immediate Response Team.

• Ensured on-time delivery of 941 Building LOPA and Loss Prevention Principal (LPP) initiative, despite multiple critical delays prior to my leadership of this project. The resulting LOPA and LPP served to identify and remediate gaps in process safety to meet internal company standards and ensure legal compliance.• Reassess plant process safety against newly released LPP standards overhaul. Determine and remedy gaps in process safety in accordance with internal, legal, and industry updates to meet on-time delivery expectations.• Led LOPA Revalidation efforts for the facility which included analyzing and closing gaps on over 500 scenarios in collaboration with production site Process Safety and Technology Center Leaders.
