My current duties involve handling customer inquiries and providing product information at the counter, as well as conducting cash and card transactions. i am responsible for receiving deliveries and inspecting the goods for any defects. Once received, i record the goods and assign appropriate stock locations to new products. i am proficient in using the Kerridge K8 system to manage stock allocation, sales, quotations, stock adjustments, stock transfers, and conducting weekly stock checks.In order to maintain a safe and organised warehouse, i ensure that the store is tidy and up to date with health and safety expectations. This includes conducting regular checks on forklifts, sack barrows, pallet trucks, and step ladders to comply with health and safety standards. i operate a counterbalance forklift weighing up to 1.5 tonnes and occasionally perform adjustments on electrical motors and bearing housings.i take on some administrative tasks such as filing all dispatch and supplier documents. i also coordinate with couriers for collection and keep records of collection and delivery documents. This allows for clear and accurate invoicing, ensuring that invoices can be matched to the respective customers they were dispatched to.

During my time at this company, i was responsible for a wide range of tasks. One of my primary responsibilities was HVAC maintenance, which involved working on various air conditioning units such as fan coil and wall mounted units. i conducted inspections on air handling units, chillers, and boilers to ensure their optimal performance.In terms of electrical maintenance, i inspected circuit boards and wiring across applications to guarantee there were no loose connections, prioritizing health and safety. i also took care of plumbing fittings associated with the air conditioning systems, ensuring that there were no defects, and that the entire system was functioning flawlessly.To ensure the smooth operation of the building, i conducted regular checks using the Building Management System. This system allowed me to control, adjust, and identify any faults in components connected to it, including actuators, pumps, lighting control, and operation scheduling.Apart from maintenance, I also had the opportunity to work on installations. This involved setting up air conditioning systems, as well as handling plumbing and electrical work.Towards the end of my time at the company, i was given the responsibility of working independently. i had a set list of maintenance and service jobs that needed to be completed each month. Additionally, i would assist engineers with installations and maintenance work whenever required or when my set list of jobs had been completed.
