I'm currently a Software Engineer at Visa working with the Regional Solutions/Digital Partnerships team based in Miami. As a Software Engineer at Visa, I work on developing and maintaining secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications that enable millions of customers and merchants to conduct transactions across Latin America and the Carribean (LAC). The Miami Regional Solutions/Digital Partnerships team is at the heart of rapid prototyping and scaling of new ideas to deliver commercial solutions and provide support for existing business priorities in the LAC region. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from Williams College, where I learned how to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to various domains and projects. I also hold a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School, which has enhanced my business acumen and understanding of the financial and economic aspects of various industries. I am proficient in Java (Spring Boot/Spring Batch), Python, JavaScript, and C# (Java, Python, and C# are my preferred languages, but JavaScript is also pretty cool to work with). Additionally, I have acquired vast experience in collaborating and coordinating development efforts with cross-functional teams within Visa distributed across different geographies and time-zones.Furthermore, I have experience with contributing to high-scale development projects, version control systems, the Scrum project management framework, Agile methodologies, debugging, and troubleshooting. I am passionate about creating innovative and impactful products that can make a positive difference in the lives of people and businesses.
