Daniel Galle is a stakeholder engagement professional with over a decade of experience in building relationships across the private sector, government, and multilateral development banks. He is currently an Engagement Specialist at the World Bank and is part of the transition team integrating the G20 Global Infrastructure Hub (GIH) into the Public Private Infrastructure Facility (PPIAF) within the Infrastructure Practice Group.Before joining the World Bank, Daniel served as a Partnership Manager at GIH. In this role, he developed and maintained strategic partnerships and managed the global promotion and dissemination of GIH content, tools, and resources to external stakeholders. This led to increased adoption, collaboration, and engagement with private sector and government stakeholders. Daniel also led the partnership strategy to secure five data partnerships to support the development of the GIH flagship reports, Infrastructure Monitor, and InfraTracker.Prior to his time at GIH, Daniel worked as an Investment Director at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission. Here, he focused on promoting infrastructure investment opportunities across Australia and worked closely with Canadian pension funds and construction and engineering firms. During his tenure, Daniel facilitated over 15 investment outcomes across Australia, including the establishment of Australian headquarters for Canadian pension funds, greenfield projects, and asset privatizations.Daniel is actively involved with the World Economic Forum (WEF) and currently sits on the Urban Infrastructure Task Force “Building Tomorrow’s Urban Infrastructure” engagement group. In 2022, he completed the APMG foundation course in Public Private Partnership (PPP).Daniel earned a Master of Science in Urban Planning and Policy Design from Politecnico di Milano in Milan, Italy, and a Bachelor's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.
