About Daniel Yang, Csi

Colorist at Tyler Perry StudiosAtlanta, GARaised in Lexington, KY, Daniel made his way to Los Angeles in 2000 to pursue his lifelong passion of making TV and movies. From working as a live television production grip to coloring and finishing projects in a dark room at some of the most world renowned facilities such as Warner Brothers, Technicolor and currently Tyler Perry Studios, Daniel has loved every minute of it. “I can’t imagine doing anything else. Every part of this industry has always fascinated me and I wish I could try it all; however, working in post production scratches every itch. I get to collaborate with other filmmakers to tell a story, evoke emotions and build rich drama, sometimes subtle and other times over the top. There’s also a technical side where I get to be a problem-solver and fix issues in the bay, saving the client time and money. It feels great being able to tell the client that they don’t need to reshoot a scene or send a shot to VFX. Every project is different which means this job is always fun and exciting.”
