Summary: Collected and analyzed biometric data through state of the art motion capture cameras, electromyography (EMG), and force plates systems. Once the data was collected, filtered data using Butterworth functions in MATLAB. Used Abaqus CAE to create 3D models that analyzed the knee joint to predict the forces of muscles and ligaments inside the knee through optimization. -Compile data and information on the properties of the nine superficial layers of articular cartilage-Create 3D finite element models using Abaqus CAE and SolidWorks to accurately represent articular cartilage sections (visually and analytically). This analysis would simulate the pressure applied throughout the superficial layers in natural movements.
