I have worked in healthcare for years, both in the CBRF and behavioral health settings, always with an emphasis on the well-being and happiness of those I've served, while strongly integrating into the teams I have had the privilege of working alongside. As of 2022 I will be launching into a career-path focusing on healthcare information technology. My emphasis on customer and stakeholder-driven solutions will leverage the power of technology to bring usable, scalable, and most importantly, secure applications to bear.My personal philosophy has been strongly shaped thanks to the time I spent at Wisconsin Early Autism project. I saw the incredible efficacy of positive reinforcement as a regime of incentivizing people's behavior, and I want to bring that paradigm to the tech world. For a long time the responsibility for cyber-hygiene has been placed within the purview of the CISO and their department. However, the reality of modern cybersecurity is that every employee in an organization stands on the front line, as the world of cyber attacks becomes more complex and frustrating to navigate. I want to implement methods for SMBs to create realistic incentives for employees to strongly consider the risks they are presented with on a daily basis, and how to effectively and simply mitigate them.
