CurrentDeveloped automation tools and libraries that test and validate Zebra products against previous firmware versions and against industry competitors. The use of these tools allows for extensive testing and benchmarking that uncovers issues with devices faster than if tested manually.• Created a Python library for testers to design and perform benchmarks, written in YAML, that evaluate the decode performance of checkout scanners by swiping grocery items with a UR10e robotic arm, controlled with RoboDK, storing raw data in an SQLite database via SQLAlchemy, and compiling the results into Excel reports, enabling extensive benchmarking and evaluation of devices that could not previously be done.• Offered support and instruction to testers using tools and libraries developed, debugging issues encountered while running benchmarks.• Provided training and assistance to junior developers to help improve their knowledge of Python.
