Part of London Citizens, an alliance of over 250 institutions with 500 000 members across London. I currently have 3 areas of responsibility. I am now the Community Organiser for the London Borough of Redbridge and Waltham Forest, with 13 local member organisations, which engages local decision makers to make the social justice changes our members want to see. We have won major victories around affordable housing, resettling refugee children from Calais and the private rented sector. In addition, I am helping to co-ordinate a national Citizens UK network of 92 Refugee Welcome teams from across the UK to increase the number of refugees resettled in the UK. Finchley

As Head of Finchley Reform Synagogue's Kochavim Religion School program, I was responsible for a team of 20 staff, teaching a dynamic form of Hebrew and Jewish Studies, with the goal of inspiring interest and engagement from over 150 young Jewish children at the shul every Sunday morning. We built programs around what inspired them, using the latest tools, from computer games to immersive ritual and food experiences.

Writing a report for the Bike Project on the effectiveness of their project. The Bike Project aims to distribute bicycles throughout London to refugees and asylum seekers to help them in avoiding the expense of London's public transport. This has involved large numbers of phone interviews and in depth one on one conversations with a range of recipients, volunteers and organisations.
