For 14 years, I have dedicated myself to public service. I have gained invaluable experience as an interviewer and investigator. Most of my work entails telling other people’s stories, people who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to tell their stories themselves. I’m an empathetic listener and I’ve learned throughout my tenure that empathy, above all else, opens doors, minds, and hearts.My work in the public sector and in the criminal justice system specifically, has opened my eyes to the radical, sweeping, and systemic change we need to see in our world.
