(sorry for the wall of text, I had many small responsibilities)I worked the Lunch to Dinner shift at the dining room of their independent living facility. Their was a one-course Lunch service, and a 3 course (Soup/Salad, Entree, and Desert), 2 seating dinner shift.I performed most of the front of house work with one other server. This included: prepping the dining room and kitchenette, folding cloth napkins, taking orders, plating the pre-cooked food, delivered the orders, clearing the dinner plates, loading a desert cart and delivering deserts, clearing all dinnerware and prepping the dining room for the next serving. After the meal was served I washed and dried the dishes using an industrial dishwasher. I cleaned (thoroughly, many of the residents had fairly severe tremors) the dining room, wiped the tables, vacuumed the carpet. Swept and mopped the kitchenette, stocked the drink machine and fridge for the breakfast shift.I was responsible to know the names and dietary restrictions of all the residents I was serving, so when there was approximately 2 hours of downtime between the end of lunch and the beginning of dinner, I spent that time interacting with the guests on a personal level. I was a bingo caller on Thursdays, I would run small errands for the residents on my lunch break (they loved scratch-off tickets), helped residents carry in groceries, helped them with their laundry and generally interacted with them.

Helped the manager decide what inventory to order.It is worth noting that this was one of those old-fashioned "booth" type gas stations, and besides shift-changes there was only one employee. This means that I am capable of following directions and work with minimal supervision.
