• Managed the day-to-day operations of Inside Xbox (IX), the Europe-wide first-party editorial outlet delivered exclusively via Xbox LIVE• Built IX up from a UK-only text service to a fully featured video entertainment channel across 18 European locales, localised into seven languages• Created/co-created original programming designed to engage the community while supporting broader marketing objectives• Developed avid, highly engaged social media following (27,400 Twitter followers and 79,920 ‘likes’ on Facebook page for ‘SentUAMessage’ show*)• Wrote/co-wrote and hosted/co-hosted upward of five original programmes per week, several of which were broadcast in other key global IX markets (inc. Published titles include God of War II, which won two BAFTAs• Created and maintained asset schedules, both in detailed offline format and exec-level online format using SCE’s bespoke Project Tracking System• Acted as liaison between first-party QA (functionality and localisation) and developers, responding to bugs in online bug tracking system, providing dev team with bug reports and negotiating with both sides to reach a satisfactory outcome• Worked directly with in-game assets to optimise content for all languages, keep localisation schedule on track and minimise localisation bugs• Developed close professional relationships with external producers and developers to guarantee that products were optimised for the European market• Utilised my broad knowledge of gaming to provide detailed feedback to dev teams (where possible) to help improve the user experience, or provide post-mortem reports to improve quality and efficiency in future titles• Produced detailed evaluations of new games from international internal dev teams and third-party publishers to determine whether they were suitable for publication
