Moe WWTP Inlet Works Upgrade, Gippsland Water - $450k+- Works involved the installation of a new travelling fine screen and screw wash press, installation of a new 10t elevated precast concrete bypass channel, walkways, covers & handrails, overflow weirs, manual screen, stop gates and baffles within the existing grit chamber of the Moe Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP).- Sewpercoat was applied to all existing, corroded inlet concrete which aims to extend the life of the existing inlet works structure by another 25 years- These works will help reduce the energy consumption of the activated sludge blowers by removing inert solids from the biological loading. As well as minimising operator exposure and manual handling of screenings and grit from the inlet works
