After finishing high school in 1985, i joined the Army where i was employed in radio signal engineering. I then studied for an Agriculture diploma and continued farming. During my farming career, i also obtained a code 14 licence and started a small engineering business repairing and manufacturing farm equipment.I have been involved in the Audio Visual Staging and Lighting industry since 1994, starting my AV career in the Pretoria State Theatre and soon freelancing for quite a few AV companies around the industry, building experience in many fields, with interesting challenges at times when touring Africa. In 2009 i started my sole owned company DJM Concepts. We specialise in technical support for corporate events, this involves Staging, Lighting, Sound, Visuals and Streaming. Evolving from this we ventured into Medical broadcasting and interactive streaming, presenting training opportunities for specialists and students local and internationally. It has been a delightful and God blessed journey so far.
