I assisted specifically with the “Parkinson’s choir,” a choir for people diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. We used music exercises to stimulate muscle movement and emotional well being.

In the Fall of 2011, and Fall of 2014, I worked as a radio show co-host for two or three various shows in our school's communications department. In 2014 my friends and I were able to interview Dick Hoyt and his disabled son, who he helped run in various triathalons. The pair are famed on YouTube, and are know colloquially as "Team Hoyt."

I was enrolled in Dark Horse Recording's 14 week Dark Horse Institute program. Dark Horse is a reputable recording studio in Nashville TN. Their clientele have included successful musical performers such as Taylor Swift and Hunter Hayes. While here I learned the basics to audio engineering, specifically softwares ProTools and AutoTune, softwares that are currently industry standards for audio/music recording. Camp counselor at summer camp for groups of 8-12 children, each of whom were diagnosed with ADHD or Autism. Key duties were to take them out for daily outdoor activities. Each group of kids were our responsibility for three weeks at a time. Playing guitar for the kids was often a key assignment for me. One kid in particular responded well and was able to manage behaviors when involved in music activities. Talisman is located in Zirconia, NC.
