Crew. A simple word that does not encapsulate the duties of a member of the AMC Theaters team. The job, or should I say jobs entail the application of many professional skills. With five different possible positions in the theater for any shift you're scheduled for, you must have everything from physical stamina because of the lots of rushing around, to mental acuity and memory skills while you transfer actively between positions. You must be ready to give your best and all if you wish to not just work at AMC, but to succeed. Each position involves its own sort of physically or mentally strenuous activity. Adaptability is an obvious necessity with such unpredictability.

I began as a server at Dragon Den & Dungeon Hall with no prior experience in the field, and in my naivety, I underestimated the difficulty of the position. Despite that, I soon rose to be the most adaptable piece in the restaurant. At one point, later on into my time there, working three different positions throughout my weekly part-time schedule (those three positions being server, host, and dishwasher), while obtaining skill and experience in my original position of server.
