Daniel Marble is a Texas A and M System Regents Professor of Physics at Tarleton State University. Colleagues describe him as "Dr. Daniel Marble is without a doubt the best Department Head I have ever known. Dr. Marble puts his students and work at his highest priority. This man is selfless in that he devotes hours of on the job time and personal time toward the committment to the mission he has set himself to do which is to teach, direct, supervise and inspire great minds with the highest quality education. Dr. Marble has the highest personal and professional standards and work ethics that I think I have ever seen and I feel very honored to have known and worked for him. He is very sincere and genuine and influences many with his wisdom and intellect and his personal/professional courage to do the very best he can for everyone whose life he touches and inspires. Dr. Marble sits with his students and puts every effort toward the betterment of lives and quality of their education, just as he would his own personal family which inspires others to be like him and try and be the best that they can possibly be.
