Since coming to Vilter, my main goal was to enhance the existing programmable controller program used. I also am tasked with writing additional custom code when necessary due to customer requirements. I also support our customers and field techs through phone support as well as on-site visits for the purpose of system commissioning, as well as field modifications to existing systems. Siemens PLC/HMI solution in the works. Working with RENU PLC/HMI as well.

During my tenure with the office I originally worked on day to day service calls. I then spent 7 ½ years supporting the General Motors plant in Janesville WI, through 2000. After that I spent a year at Cleaver-Brooks assisting them in developing a CampactLogix based control for their boiler options (recently I came across two boilers in California with those programs running). After Cleaver-Brooks, I spent most of my time converting most of the paper plants in Wisconsin from PLC-3’s to CLX’s. The last conversion I did I converted (5) PLC-3 programs and swapped them all out on a single day. -
