Biomedical and Treatment Advisor_ Sauti Project- JHPIEGO Tanzania;Design and oversee implementation of culturally appropriate biomedical interventions at the national and regional level. Provide technical guidance, monitoring and assistance to the MoHSW, R/CHMTs, CBOs, HIVAIDS Care and treatment partners and other KVP focused stakeholders to ensure sustainable comprehensive HIV prevention across local and central government. Establish close work relation with MoHSW, NACP, RCH, Ministry of Home Affairs, Prime Minister’s office Regional Authorities and Local government, and TACAIDS. Support implementation of national health policies and strategies in relation to KVP programming, as well as ensure proper integration of HIV prevention with Reproductive health, family planning, and tuberculosis services.Selective Achievements: • Successful start and scale up of Sauti Interventions and the Community Based Biomedical package of services: HTC, TB, STI, Alcohol and Drug Screening, FP counseling and Methods, Condom distribution, Referral Linkage and Partner tracing, GBV screening and referral, • Successful adoption and use of the national KVP services guidelines in all regions • Successful training of R/CHMT, Ministry of health Health Care Workers on delivery of friendly services to Key population• Successful training and integration of Gender, Gender Bases Violence, Family planning, Reproductive health services in all prevention activities • Successful coordination of integration of biomedical, SBCC and Social Economic Empowerment of Vulnerable young women • Coordinated integration of Community Health Workers in referrals and follow up of index clients • Yearly scale up of Biomedical services across eight regions: Mbeya, Mwanza, Njombe, Tabora, Shinyanga, Dar es salaam, Lindi• Training Sauti staff on and Integrating Sauti Logistics systems into the National Electronic Logistics Management System (ELMS) for all regions
