Fueled by a 35+ year career in human resources, I am passionate about helping senior leaders and teams excel. I am honored to be President of the National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR), the preeminent organization that recognizes exceptional leadership in human resources, provides executive development and collaboration to new Chief Human Resources Officers and supports higher education in human resources management through its Fellows in the Classroom program and assorted scholarships. I was inducted as a Fellow of the Academy in 2012 and have been an NAHR board member since 2019. After 30 years with Colgate-Palmolive Company, the last 15 years as Chief Human Resources Officer, I retired in late 2020. At Colgate, I was honored to work with the most professional human resources team I know, remarkable business leaders, and some of the world's most admired brands. Miracle Foundation is focused on improving the lives of vulnerable children and is a leader in the global movement to make orphanages obsolete. I am also passionate about the mission of The Black Experience, where I sit on the Advisory Board and whose leaders are tirelessly focused on elevating the voices, and telling the stories, of accomplished Black and African Americans to be a positive force in ending systemic racism.
