Left college early because I found an excellent job with a corporation that had the exclusive consignment for retail souvineer sales at all NHRA sporting events and the Indianapolis 500. Worked for Sport Service 4 years in production management, collections and supervision of retail sales people. Continued working for them part time in retail sales for 10 more years. Went into construction part time in 1983 and full time in 1992. In 1996 I took a job in a small construction company, Creekside Construction as a foreman, Went from there to managing half the company. We had up to 20 employees and dozens of subcontractors. I became head estimator, worked human resources and still ran many jobs. We had up to 30 going at the same time. We were the third largest, number of jobs wise, contractor with two major home insurers in AZ. I was also the qualifier for the company. In 2006 the comp;nay was sold. I started Martinovich Construction. Small residential remodels and insurance work. I usually had 1 full time employee and 2-3 part time ones. Now down to one part time employee. That brings me to the other side of my work experience.In 1982 I became a Christian and immediately became involved in vocational ministry. I have helped start churches, finance church start ups, build church buildings. I have served in almost every conceivable voluntary function in churches. I was ordained in 1985 by Cornerstone Christian Center, Thousand Oaks CA. Graduated two chaplaincy programs. Was a paid full time evangelist for a short time. Was on the board of directors and the treasurer of a very dynamic missionary organization in Africa. Preached and taught at many churches in Africa. I have a large teaching website that gets 30,000 hits a month, (1\3 of those are robots.) Some of the articles on that site have been on the first page of internet search engine pages for decades. I laid the groundwork to start a church in Camp Verde AZ where we were moving at the end of 2019. Then of course Covid hit and blew that up. However that gave me a chance to write my first book which someday I believe will be a Christian classic due to the content. That took two years and now the marketing of it is very time consuming. This has put the church plant on hold indefinitely. I found and married my wife in 1986. We have stayed married, in love, and had six children that we successfully home schooled. We have been very, very busy all these years but are not ready to retire and are looking for what the next move in our lives is.
