Assisted Engineering with the development of the Inspection Attribute List. - Participated in the review of supplier proposal information. - Ensured all requirements of 10-CFR-50 Appendix B, NQA-1, ASME Section III, and 10-CFR-21 were met during the fabrication of Reinforcing Steel for nuclear construction.

Provided technical and administrative oversight for Level II Source Surveillance Inspectors assigned to various locations for Shaw Power Group – Nuclear Division - Procurement. Coordinated the qualification and training of contract inspectors provided by PSC Services. Performed Pre-Inspection Meetings to review all contract documents with suppliers. Performed Source Inspections and reviewed receiving, in-process, testing and final documentation to certify compliance with contract documents. Generated Inspection Reports for distribution to Shaw Procurement, Quality Assurance and Purchasing. Documented unsatisfactory conditions and non-conformances. Ensured compliance with 10CFR Part 50 Appendix B and NQA-1 of commodities destined for new construction nuclear plants. Level II QA/QC LEAD ExaminerPrimary responsibilities are performing Electrical and Instrumentation Inspections per design drawings, procedures, and current Code requirements. Performed inspections in accordance with ASME/ANSI standards. Performed visual weld inspections on structural steel per AWS D1.1. Performed Visual Weld inspections on carbon and stainless pipe per ASME B31.1 and ASME Section III. Performed inspections consisting of dimension verification, filler and base material verification, and final visual weld inspection in accordance with applicable codes, specifications and standards. Performed verification of welder qualifications in accordance with ASME Section IX. Acted as a shift supervisor providing oversight to contract inspectors to verify all inspections were in accordance with programmatic requirements.
