During my 4+ years with MIND, I was assigned with multiple tasks and fulfilled multiple roles in the company, such as:1) Support Engineer – which consisted in:a. Perform Installation, configuration and upgrades on MIND apps on the customer's platformsb. Assist customers to operate MIND Appsc. Create PL/SQL scripts, procedures in order to manually fix issue until a permanent solution is provided or to monitor the system and detect upcoming issuesd. Performing onsite training for customer employees2) Deployment Engineer – As a deployment engineer I have successfully deployed 2 big projects for MIND (Eastlink Wireless and Appalachian Wireless). Job responsibilities included:a. Analyzing and understanding the customer’s business and come up with solutions to map it to the MIND product with minimum implementation and effortb. Deploying the system according to customer specificationsc. Migrating the entities from the previous Billing system to MIND billing systemd. Assisting in finishing successfully the UAT session3) Deployment manager – Aside from the responsibilities of the deployment engineer, as a deployment manager I was also in charge with:a. Managing the tasks and team in charge with the deploymentb. Assisting with the definition of the software changes requested by the customer4) Customer Solution expert / Technical Project Manager – When it was needed I was assisting/replacing the Technical Project Manager/Customer Solution Expert and performed the following:a. Analyze customer business and gather the requirements for new software changes requestsb. Mediate the communication between the customer and MIND internal teams (Product Management, R&D) in order to deliver the changes as per requested specificationsc. Planning the delivery of the software changes requested by the customerd. Assisting in preparing demos and presentations of the software product as well as the preparing the Proof of concept (PoC) for potential clients.
