Completed three trips to India for in-person, detailed functional/policy training and quality assurance checks.Correspondence Re-Design Lead (12/2019 – 01/2020) Georgia Department of Human Services (GA DHS), Atlanta, GA • Upon recommendation of firm leadership, worked directly with GA DHS Assistant Deputy Director to transform urgent policy/business requirements in redesigning eligibility notices for state Medicaid, food stamp, and cash assistance recipients. • Provided design recommendations to stakeholders for increasing the readability of eligibility notices.• Shared timetable and financial estimates concerning new requirements and created cross-walk to direct stakeholders in seamlessly developing the new design from the current design.

Project: Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) Medicaid Eligibility and Enrollment System Modernization.Role: Track Lead - CorrespondenceI currently specialize in requirements and design in Health and Human Services (HHS) Correspondence (both physical notices/forms and system module functionality). This track is unique in that it requires both a strong understanding in state Medicaid policy in addition to the inherent information systems knowledge. My role and responsibilities as a Consultant have included:Managing a small design team responsible in creating the system’s design deliverables associated to the Correspondence module. Leading the visioning, requirement, and design sessions with client stake holders. Acting as the liaison between the Correspondence team and the LDH client team as well as other project teams. Provide functional direction to a team for 12 developers (offshore).

Montana

Project: Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services Medicaid, SNAP and Cash Assistance systemAs an analyst, I utilized my strong understanding of the structure, coordination, and responsiveness necessary to lead a team of both onshore and offshore resources to deliver successful/high quality outcomes. I built strong relationships with the client and then leveraged these relationships to expedite the resolution of action items and design decisions. Outside of requirements and design, I assisted with the triage, resolution and prioritization of issues. I was tasked as the lead in the transition from design/development to training and deployment for a large build.After nearly three years on the Montana project, I interacted with a vast majority of the MT DPHHS employees. I’ve led Design and Requirement JADS with the System and Policy Teams, I’ve provided Knowledge Transfers to the DPHHS UAT Team, and lead a field visit to a Public Assistance Office where I walked the state employees through new functionality and assisted with increasing their system proficiency. Throughout the three years, I’ve demonstrated that I can adapt my system and policy knowledge to all client levels.

My responsibilities include managing the $200,000 Student Government budget and the distribution of funds to the 106 student organizations. I took it upon myself to change the layout and internal excel system used by the SGA Treasurer for budgeting. The changes I made allow for ease and simplicity for budgeting and allocation for myself and future treasurers. I saw it as my responsibility to create a donation account at local bank for a peer who had a tragedy occur in her life. I promoted the account to alumni, students, and the community and was able to raise around $1,500.
