Joined Marshall & Kendon Architects after a year sabbatical from Jan 2015 - Jan 2016. Currently working on a number of exciting projects across a number of different scales, sectors and client types; these include the refurbishment and extension of a Grade II listed Lido (pool, restaurant, and associated facilities) on the banks of the Thames, a new build Chapel and Reception facilities in a green field site, and a complex Residential refurbishment and extension project, amongst others.

Daniel joined O'learyGoss Architects on a short term contract, and was a Project Architect on a student accomodation project in the historic heart of Bristol, providing 100 student apartments within two adjoining buildings (one being Grade 2 listed) for a developer client. The project, which was developed in BIM, successfully achieved the relevant statutory consents, while while 'strip out' contracts were administrated, and accelerated tender and production information packages were produced (including NBS specification production).Daniel left O'learyGoss Architects at Christmas 2014, as agreed at contract implementation, to undertake a private project and travel-based sabbatical in 2015.

Daniel was a Project Architect at Matthew Clay Architects delivering a number of small-medium scale projects across a range of sectors from concept stages through to completion. Responsible for tendering and fee / resource allocation on projects, alongside project delivery. Worked on high end private residential projects - both new build and extension, achieved planning approval on a complex residential care home extension project - a project which Daniel privately brought into the practice, and developed a number of commercial units through to completion.Daniel left Matthew Clay Architects, when the company re-scaled to Director only positions.

Daniel worked on a number of complex multi-million pound projects, across a range of sectors at all stages of design and construction. Worked on a number of competitions including: a PPP bid for the new Sunshine Coast University Hospital (Brisbane, Aus), and a competition-winning entry for the Cancer Treatment Centre for Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, amongst others. Formed part of a small design team responsible for the delivery on site, from inception to construction, of a number of projects on the redeveloped Corus Steel Works site in Ebbw Vale, Wales. These included: a new build 1200 pupil Secondary School, and Sports and Leisure Centre.

Bogotá, Colombia

Daniel was responsible for the Santo Thomas University (Bogotá) competition entry design, and the delivery of a number of technical detailing packages for Compensar Health and Well-being Facility, Bogotá, Colombia.

Vancouver, Canada

Daniel formed part of the design teams working on the refurbishment and extension of Arena Stage theatre complex, Washington; and the Tarrant County College campus development, Fort Worth Texas. Responsible for the delivery and full coordination, of the construction information package for a 300ft pedestrian bridge, linking the north and south campus' of Tarrant County College.
