Dan Mayo serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for WIN Waste Innovations where he manages all aspects of the Company’s financial affairs including capital raising, treasury, investor relations, forecasting/planning, accounting, risk management and tax. In addition, Dan also oversees strategy, acquisitions and divestitures, business development, project management office, energy sales, waste pricing, procurement and supply chain and information technology.

Prior to assuming the CFO position, Dan served as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) where he played an instrumental role in developing the Company’s strategy and strategic execution plan to create shareholder value. As CSO, Dan managed strategy, acquisitions and divestitures, business development, waste/metals/energy sales, waste pricing, procurement and supply chain, project management office and information technology. During his tenure as CSO, Dan led the successful integration of Wheelabrator, Tunnel Hill Partners and City Carting to form a vertically integrated waste platform. In addition, Dan led the development of the Company’s acquisition growth strategy and execution plan inclusive of opportunity sourcing, investment thesis, transaction due diligence/execution and capital allocation. Under this strategy, the Company closed ~$200M acquisitions in 2020 to establish a fully integrated business model in northern New England.

Global responsibility for InterGen’s financial affairs including capital raising, treasury, investor relations, forecasting/planning, accounting, risk management and tax. Member of Executive Leadership Team, Audit & Risk Committee, Global Risk Management Committee, and 401(k) Investment Committee. Served as Corporate Officer and/or Project-level Director for portfolio companies.

Global responsibility for management of the Treasury business at InterGen including capital structure, corporate finance, project finance, investor relations, cash management, interest rate and foreign exchange risk management and other treasury-related activities.

Responsible for capital raising in support of InterGen’s strategic initiatives, both organic and acquisition-related, and portfolio management efforts.

Provided investment banking services with a focus on debt structuring and execution for corporates and financial sponsors in the power, energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors. Principal lending experience as well as deep experience in agented transactions.
