Assisting with installation of software and hardware4. Performing basic computer and network maintenance5. Troubleshooting software and hardware problems6. Maintaining an accurate technology inventory for the building, and providingan updated inventory report to the Education Center7. Using School dude an online web-based ticketing system to track all technology building incidents, responding to and closing tickets as necessary8. Participating in periodic in-service programs provided by the InstructionalTechnology Specialist9. Other tasks as assigned by the Director of Technology and the ComputingServices CoordinatorKnowledge of Windows and Mac OS operating systems. Knowledge of the installationof applications software on servers and stand-alone systems. Knowledge of Novell/Open Enterprise Server. Communication and organizational skills. Record keeping skills.
