 End-to-end management of shipments at different location from suppliers' sites to GE required locations  Harmonization of country-specific regulations and tariffs regarding freight movements globally. Setting up and monitoring supply chain metrics for project planning Negotiate quotes with freighters for order shipments  Manages logistics tracking report for the business and for other external supply chain partners  Pursue aggressive cost savings through bids evaluations and utilization of special pricing regimes in different locations Work with local customs, bodies and other governmental agencies to ensure regulatory compliance for all shipments Plan third party inspections of items at supplier' s site before shipment of order from country of origin

Key Performance Indicators:•Managed logistics for orders above $120m for a GE business.•Consistently maintained OTD of 90% for spares totalling about $80m.•Develops and improves procurement strategy and capabilities using the procurement maturity assessment to identify gaps and implement transformational changes through strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract management etc.•Improve operating model and interconnect end-to-end supply chain functions for optimized process efficiency and effectiveness through business analytics.•Developing procurement and supply chain strategies that improve effectiveness and efficiency of processes, and support innovation across the value chain by leveraging processes, benchmarking strategies and lean principles.•Providing team leadership in delivering end-to-end supply chain connectedness across diverse cultures to realise a single process for GE supplies.•Ensuring compliance in procurement and logistics by coalescing local regulations with international laws to obtained standardized practice e.g. SONCAP certification.•Checking and computing duties/taxes and rate structure for all stakeholders across the value chain.
