Komak provides emergency financial assistance to normally self-supporting people who are unable to work during cancer treatment due to the effects of the disease and its treatment (including chemotherapy, surgery, and/or radiation). By helping with the bills of daily life such as rent and utilities, we aid people in maintaining food and shelter security until they either complete treatment and return to work, or have an opportunity to make other longer-term arrangements.
