District Manager
Current• Initially started TitleMax’s sister company, CheckMax, a payday lending company, then transferred to TitleMax as District Manager• At onset, assumed mission of turning around an underperforming district, which was part of a senior management initiative to group all underperforming stores in the region in one district • Assumed management of 9 TitleMax stores and 3 Equity Auto stores, including sales, staffing and P & L, and of overseeing a $17 million budget ($8 million in fees; $9 million in new loans) • Currently supervise approx. 80 staff, including Store Managers, Assistant/Trainee Managers, and Customer Service Agents• Evaluate new markets for branch growth, establish action plans for company growth, ensuring compliance with state/ local regulations • Minimize bad debt by analyzing delinquency numbers, and enforcing collections process • Manage monthly Cash Flow and P & L reports• Perform all branch audits, visiting and auditing every store twice per month• Train new/existing staff to ensure state/federal compliance with lending regulations; resolve all employee grievances which cannot be handled at the branch level, (eg. promotions/settlements/terminations)• Successfully sourced on average approx. 20% key clients per year Increased average profit from just under $100K per month to average of $220K per month in 1st year (2007) and to over $340K by the end of the 2nd year (2008)• Reduced charge-offs by approx. 35% and grew the charge-off recovery from 13% to 71% (2007-2008) • Promoted to the business’ title lending side to manage a much larger district , based on results achieved (2008) Increased new loans by 198% and increased growth by 215% over 2-year period, from $3.3 million to $7.1 million, and grew branch sales by 60%, which increased profits by approx. 40%, and district profits by over 350% (2008-2010)
