As part of the Verification & Validation (V&V)/Market Acceptance technical theme I have been critical in developing the processes, tools, and templates that are now employed on a regular basis. I provide guidance and technical insight to clients on V&V/Market Acceptance to help them ensure their product meets all its specified requirements as well any applicable Laws, Regulations and Standards. I also frequently perform Technology Readiness Level (TRL) assessments, create Inspection & Test Plans, provide Technology Qualification guidance, and undertake FMECA studies to help with risk identification and assessment.

During my time at Belcan, I was involved primarily in the standardisation of Rolls-Royce civil large gas turbine engine components. Working in tandem with a team of Belcan and Rolls-Royce engineers from various backgrounds, I was responsible for the verification and validation of complex designs by ensuring that concepts adhered to the appropriate regulations specified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).Further to this, I was also involved in engine certification programmes. This saw me at the forefront of ensuring engine safety by being involved with leading development engines through intensive testing regimes in order to prove eligibility for entry into service/passenger flight.
