I was employed as a class 2 bulk tipper driver. The company is responsible for bulk aggregate deliveries in and around the northwest, site to site deliveries of raw materials as well as the movement of heavy plant around the country. My daily routine consists of carrying out my morning daily checks, collecting specific loads of raw material from either quarries or building sites and delivering to various building or landfill sites around the northwest. My work is set out the day before, this can regularly be changed throughout the day so being responsive to change is important.
