Respond to and perform special requests as designated from the Building management. Be responsible for insuring and maintaining up-to-date files of building plans, equipment specifications, and all maintenance logs as required local, state and national regulations.Respond to building emergencies as needed and as directed in accordance with the building Life Safety Program.Assist the Chief Engineer in the formulation and implementation of the preventive maintenance program including scheduling of preventive maintenance with minimum disruption of building servicesParticipate in the implementation of new systems and processes from a mechanical perspective in order to thoroughly understand the principal assuring the ability to train all maintenance staff on preventive and corrective maintenance.Assist in creating purchasing specifications and competitive bid analysis and assist the Facility Manager relative to monitoring the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors including insuring the timely performance of maintenance contractWork with vendors and contractors regarding installations, preventative maintenance, and modifications ensuring that all Cushman & Wakefield safety procedures and guidelines are followed. Ensure a safe work environment while maintaining a clean and organized work area.Demonstrate the ability to understand the engineering design and operational aspects of the Base Building systems and be able to immediately recognize system performance deficiencies and respond to operational and emergency situations.Assist the Facility Manager with management of all capital improvement construction projects from construction document review to project closeout and completion.
