Having been involved in the business on a voluntary basis for around a year, it was a wonderful opportunity to be able to join the team on a full time basis to help commercialise our first product as we continue on our exciting start up journey. My role is varied and has been both challenging and rewarding. In recent years I have up skilled in several areas including software development project management, graphic design and UX /UI design. I continue to develop new skills and draw on my experience gained in customer experience and business management as needed in order help the team achieve our business goals.

In my role I was tasked with curating some truly beautiful product from the respected designerJade Holland Cooper. I had the pleasure of managing the store located in Edinburgh's luxury shoppingdistrict which caters to an international customer base.Working for the Scottish family owned franchise of this British brand has given me the opportunity tofocus on moulding my skillset to suit a luxury store setting while also gaining experience in eventsmanagement.As part of my role I worked closely with the marketing and operations manager to run several pop upshops at country fairs and equestrian events across Scotland as well as charity functions and VIPshopping experiences, at the same time I ensured the smooth running of the store in my absence.I also regularly attended buying appointments where we met with the brand founder to evaluate her new collections. I collated sales data beforehand to help us build our stock package to best suit our needs.

I was a loyal and valued member of the Superdry team for many years. Through my hard work andwillingness to learn I achieved several promotions, making my way up through the ranks from salesassistant to the highly sought-after role of Store Manager.During this period the brand underwent massive expansion and it was both exciting and rewarding tobe a part of this journey.Leading a diverse team of over 30 staff in a high footfall store with an annual turnover of severalmillion pounds was fast paced and challenging. Training and development of my team was the facet ofmy role I found the most rewarding and this, coupled with my organisational skills, effective timemanagement and positive attitude were key to success.As a junior manager I was enrolled in Superdry's 'Playing to Win' management training course whichenabled me to build on my strengths and more effectively motivate, manage and develop staff of alllevels.
