In my current position as the Director of Renewables, within the Engineering Services group of Kiewit Engineering, I focus on the engineering around renewable projects including solar, energy storage and other technologies.We focus on independent engineering, owner's engineering and detailed multi-discipline full engineering projects in a variety of execution models - engineering only and EPC.We have a diverse team of engineers and designers to provide innovative and the most cost-effective solutions for our customers.

In my current position as the Director of Plant Services, within the Engineering Services group of Kiewit Engineering, I focus on customers' day-to-day engineering support needs.We focus on studies, condition assessments, root cause analysis, detailed engineering, efficiency and operational improvements, and more.We have a diverse team of power and industrial engineers to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions for our customers.

As a project manager for Emerson, I was responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects and their respective staff. I am also acting manager for Emerson’s installation engineering in the power segment. General responsibilities include: Contract compliance, standards and quality assurance procedure compliance. Coordinating and scheduling of projects including internal activities such as hardware design and fabrication, application software development and external subcontractors and purchasing. System hardware design and system configuration. Technical Specialist supporting EPC content and solutions. Technical Specialist supporting global proposal efforts.

Responsible for I&C engineering and design tasks for large scale wet scrubber projects. Managed a team of engineers and designers on multiple simultaneous projects.

Management of Instrument and Control design team (team size 5-12 engineers and designers) and maintaining compliance with design standards and quality assurance procedures.Development of design standards and quality verification procedures.Client interface, contract compliance, specification development, P&ID development, interfacing with process engineering, vendor communication and compliance, I&C design document preparation (I/O lists, logic diagrams, graphic sketches, instrument and valve lists).Interfacing with other project disciplines and minimizing interferences.Scheduling and budgeting of resources throughout the URS locations to maintain project schedule.
