Actively searching for a challenging opportunity in the industry utilizing strong communication, design, and problem-solving skills.My academic courses have provided me with the opportunity to enhance my problem-solving skills by having gone through rigorous calculus, physics, and engineering classes. My enrollment in a myriad of classes helped me learn engineering concepts, ethics, and manufacturing processes. I also have become skilled in different CAD programs such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and PTC Creo. I have then used that knowledge in real-world experiences in various internship opportunities working in the industry and working on research projects. For example, while working on a green propulsion research team at the Center of Space Exploration and Technology Research at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), I built a delivery system to transfer a chosen oxidizer to the combustion chamber. I also used my CAD skills to design various elements of our test setup such as a gas mixing chamber. I have gained valuable experience and assisted in making engineering drawings for parts needing to be fabricated, starting plans to track defects in the manufacturing process, and created new and updated plant floor layouts. Throughout all these experiences I have had to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. These skills, as well as strong writing and presentation skills, were necessary to succeed when working as part of a team. I strive for excellence in all aspects of my chosen vocation. My volunteering, career, and academic experiences have enhanced my abilities to excel in activities that sustain, but are not limited to, project coordination, customer support, teamwork, and optimization. As a professional with proficient organizational skills, leadership qualities, and keen willingness to learn and take initiative, I am confident in my abilities that given an opportunity, I can excel.
