Working on a variety of projects, both operational and conceptual, with a focus on offshore implementation.Current Projects are managing an Oil in Produce Water technology trial, through the offshore implementation of a Compact Flotation Unit to clean and dispose of a large stored quantity of produced water; Also managing and implementing a recovery program for TR integrity issues on the Curlew FPSO.Previous projects have been:Curlew Low Pressure Operation Project - a FEED project to look at reducing the operating pressure of the Curlew topsides from 36bar down to 12bar. This project involved design work to replace the gas compressors, modify piping and installation of a fuel gas booster compressor as well as assessing suitability of the existing systems to support the change. A practical aspect was to evaluate the ability to implement these significant changes offshore, within a reasonable timeframe both during operational period and during a prolonged shutdown. My initial role was to develop the Basis of Design for tender to a design contractor (AMEC) and then assist in the management of the FEED through to it's completion.Curlew DTR (disconnect, tow, reconnect) - the aim of this project was to safely remove the FPSO from station and transit to Hamburg for dry docking then reconnect her to her original location. I was involved in the early planning stages of this project, looking at developing the practical aspect and overall scheduling of the disconnection. I was responsible for the management of some minor preparatory scopes and later moved into the planner position for the disconnection phase.

Working as the Facilities Engineer for the Curlew FPSO, my main responsibilites were to manage and organise assigned projects to focus on the implementation of change proposals (CPs) through Management of Change (MoC) procedures. This involved the management and monitoring of projects through all stages, including management of allocated budgets and liaison with external bodies, as required, fulfilling required regulatory obligations; planning of all resources required and incorporation into the appropriate operations and projects plans and offshore management of scope. This also involved the management of 3rd Party's to provide specialist support on an as-needed basis, i.e. vendors, consultancies and service providers.Responsibilities also included managing the annual subsea inspection program, taking a supervisory role during offshore diving works, functioning as client representative on DSV’s, participation in and organisation of HAZIDs, HAZOPs and HIRAs.Specific projects included installation of Additional Living Quarters on the FPSO, Production Riser Replacement Project, Additional field tie-back project, Subsea Manifold installation, Mooring Chain inspection scope.

Working as the Integrity Management Engineer for the Maersk Curlew FPSO and the North Sea Producer FPSO, my functions were to assist in the management of the Independent Verification Body and the inspection services contractor, to assist in the maintenance and continual development of Integrity Management Processes and help demonstrate that the Safety Critical Elements were being safeguarded in conjunction with the Written Scheme of Verification.This also included managing fabric maintenance campaigns and insulation survey repair scopes of work on an annual basis.
