About Daniel Mclaughlin

My main focus is ‘community engagement’, which is where my passion lies, as I feel it’s the best way to conserve our nation’s wildlife. The British public needs to reconnect with our wild places and I would love to help with educating and getting them involved in local conservation projects they can take ownership of. A ‘hands on’ approach is the best way to get people invested. As well as improving habitat connectivity to join up our Green spaces to allow wildlife populations to not become isolated. I have extensive experience in the voluntary sector at various organisations dealing with a variety of ecological and biodiversity initiatives. I am an enthusiastic and committed individual with the drive, focus and determination required to carry out tasks and manage resources within various challenging environments.
