In the journey through my education and career path, I have taken many opportunities to work on myself and my skills. Through my high school I was able to gain crucial skills; time management, problem solving, and communication skills helped me further future educational opportunities. Taking Metal Fabrication, Automotive Construction, CAD Software, Blueprint Reading, and Designing courses throughout my high school career helped me stand out as an individual.I was given the opportunity to work as an intern for both Scot Forge and Super Shox to introduce me to the precise metal forming industry. Super Shox Inc is my most recent employment where I learned crucial Machining skills; Precise Measurement Readings, Proper Fixture Set-up, Usage of Heavy Machinery, and Working Independently. Through these experiences, I was able to receive fulfillment internally and from external foundations. I was rewarded from these achievements from the Mike Rowe Foundation and the Precision Metalforming Association with scholarships to gain a higher education from the Universal Technical Institute.I am grateful for the support from my family, my mentor Mr. Chris Ellingsen, the Mike Rowe Foundation, the Precision Metalforming Association, and all my teachers who brought me to this point in my life.
