As lead specialist for the team, I provide technical and non-technical advice to colleagues regarding the portfolio my team is responsible for, and how these products interface with the Business as a whole. The portfolio is diverse and extends from the provision of End-User compute, both physical and virtual, to application delivery, messaging, security and many other disciplines.I have also performed the design and release of many critical clinical care applications, often incorporating outages and downtime procedures to ensure a successful release with minimal/zero clinical impact.

Engaged to assist in the delivery of a Windows 10 Environment, I provided application packaging, discovery and delivery skills, as well as advising on a variety of technical matters, from Domain consolidation to the Evergreen process required by most Windows 10 environments.In addition to deployment and remediation activities, I became increasingly engaged in communication with colleagues, stakeholders and other technical teams, including Cyber Security and MOE delivery to increase the efficacy of delivered solutions.

I was engaged by Queensland Health to assist in the completion of the Contemporary Workspace Program (CWP) Windows 10 Project. I packaged Tier 1, 2 and 3 applications for release into Production as well as performing remediation on defected packages that were already released. This highly technical role was challenging and rewarding. It drew heavily on my wide experience in the industry and ability to gather information to make sound judgment.Part of a distributed team, this role involved close collaboration and communication as well as some hard work to successfully meet strict deadlines.

During this period I completed a vast and diverse portfolio of contracts, in sectors from Utilities to Insurance and Banking, as well as Healthcare and beyond. This formative period saw me having exposure to many different environments, technologies, pressures and required outcomes.The fast-paced and demanding requirements of being a professional services contractor in this period meant that rapid growth and resilience was required, as the technological and sociological landscapes continued to rapidly change.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the QFCC network, providing guidance to the Managed Service Provider as to the Commission’s requirements. Provide essential advice and strategy to the Commission on matters relating to QG ICT policy and compliance requirements. Leadership role in matters such as Information Security, and Information Management. Identify areas of risk relating to crucial aspects of ICT policy compliance, and take appropriate steps in line with defined processes from QG. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and define project plans.
